Latin Night
Beginning Monday, July 3, we’ll be hosting a new weekly event called Latin Night at The Webster! We open the night with Salsa and Bachata group classes, followed by a Latin Night Social! Join instructor Steve Santos of CT Bachata & NJ Salsa as he lays the foundation for Salsa & Bachata social dancing! Begin your Latin dance journey at The Webster! Enrollment is now open for our July group programs and Latin Night Social! Salsa Group Program 7:30-8:30pm – 3 classes in July and open practice 7/17 Our Salsa program is a series of progressive classes that build on the material from the previous week. We’re currently offering a style of Salsa often referred to as On1, an immensely popular style that’s practiced internationally. The program works through a curriculum that develops participants for social dancing. This program can be taken alone or in combination with the Bachata program as a package. Bachata Group Program 8:45-9:45pm – 3 classes in July and open practice 7/17 Our Bachata program is a series of progressive classes that build on the material from the previous week. We’re teaching a style of Bachata that’s often referred to as Urban Bachata. This style is a fusion of traditional Bachata and emerging styles. The program works through a curriculum that develops people for social dancing. This program can be taken alone or in combination with the Salsa program as a package. Salsa & Bachata Group Program Package 7:30-9:45pm – 6 classes in July and open practice 7/17 Our Salsa & Bachata package combines both programs at a discounted rate. There’s a 15 minute intermission between the two programs. Latin Night Social 9:45-11:30pm – 3 socials in July Our Monday night social runs from 9:45-11:30pm. Music is curated by Steve Santos of CT Bachata and will include Salsa, Bachata, and Merengue. The social is complimentary for participants enrolled in either or both dance programs.
